Best Day in the Life:
There are so many best days! Each fall we offer sign-up opportunities at the Basalt Middle School and Roaring Fork High School. The kids are so excited and the parents are beaming with pride. It's clear AVSC plays an important role in their lives.
Competition days are also a highlight. It's amazing to watch the young athletes cheer for one another and push through their fears and apprehensions to discover strengths they didn't know they had.
Any day we receive a thank-you letter is is a best day. We support over 400 kids with financial aid. Their letters of thanks speak of self confidence gained, friendships formed and lessons learned - little reminders of why we do what we do, and why it's so easy to put our hearts into our work.
