Best Day in the Life: Since opening in 2005, CHI has witnessed many great
days through an enormous amount of community
support. With the collaboration of numerous entities,
CHI’s prevention work is helping families throughout
the valley. CHI is a sponsor of community coalitions
working to reduce substance abuse. These are Youth
Advisory Councils, Parents, Law Enforcement,
Responsible Retailers and Hospitality Resource Panels, a
Methamphetamine Task Force, and a substance abuse
Prevention Policy Board.
Out best day is yet to come when CHI is able to provide
the only adolescent outpatient substance abuse
treatment center in the area. Pathways Adolescent
Recovery Program will provide a free assessment and
an affordable 6-9 week outpatient treatment program.
We are excited to keep local youth connected to their
school, family, and social systems while receiving
treatment for substance abuse.
The day that support from funders and private donors
has contributed to the grand opening of Pathways,
which is roughly set for fall 2007, will be our best day
ever.
