Organizational Mission:
Challenge Aspen enhances the lives of people with disabilities world-wide by providing high caliber, unique and uplifting recreational and cultural experiences for them, their families and communities. Co-founded by Houston Cowan and Amanda Boxtel, Challenge Aspen responded to the needs of the disabled community by creating a year-round program offering access to a variety of sports, recreational and cultural activities. Challenge Aspen believes that access is the key to participation, and through participation, people with disabilities can break through barriers, unite with family and friends, and gain the self-esteem and confidence necessary to lead fulfilling, productive lives. The program offers a broad range of daily activities and camps throughout the year. Activities skiing, whitewater rafting, horseback riding and fishing. Camp , mono-ski camps and a rock climbing camp for paraplegics and amputees, a ski festival for the visually impaired, and children’s art and music camps.

Celebrities, PGA players and their coaches will converge on the Snowmass Club course for this fabulous event. Highlights include two spectacular days of golf, personal instruction from the pros, golf clinics, award ceremonies and dinners and a concert by Vince Gill and Amy Grant.
